Read these passages:

3. Proverbs 4

• How does satan operate? What are his methods that will lead people astray?

• List the areas you will need wisdom in this school year?

• Do you have a teachable heart? What would your friends and parents say?

Meditate day and night

Christian meditation simply is the discipline of listening for God's voice in order to obey his word.

Read these passages:

1. Psalm 1

2. Psalm 77:12

3. Psalm 143:5

4. 1 Samuel 3:7-10

• Do you meditate on the word of God? Who taught you?

• If you don't know what to do, how will you learn?

• Do you have the attitude of Samuel? Speak Lord for your servant is listening

• What is the word of God teaching you?
